We are very proud and privileged to announce that Ideso has won the prestigious ‘red dot: best of the best’ design concept award for our PowerPac concept that we developed earlier this year!
Senior designer, Jared Vorster received the award on behalf of Ideso, at a red-carpet event in Singapore on Friday 19 October.
We now become one of only a handful of South African design firms to have received a red dot award for exceptional design and are very excited for what the future holds for our studio, as well as Cape Town’s local design industry.

We would like to wish everyone a happy World Industrial Design Day for 29 June 2012!
Ideso will be involved today through their participation at the official World Design Capital 2014 signing ceremony, where The Executive Mayor of the City of Cape Town, Alderman Patricia de Lille and Icsid President, Soon-in Lee, will sign the host city agreement for 2014.

Product design consultancy, Ideso, is now a corporate member of The International Council of Societies of Industrial Design (Icsid).
Ideso becomes only the second company in the whole of Africa to receive corporate membership.

Cape Town has been named the World Design Capital for 2014.
